By Air: If you want to go to Mussoorie by air, then the nearest airport to Mussoorie is Dehradun Airport, which is about 35 km from Mussoorie. Then, from there, you can book a cab or taxi to go to Mussoorie.

By Train: If you want to go to Mussoorie by train, Dehradun Railway Station is the nearest railway station to Mussoorie. You will get trains to reach Dehradun from every major city in India.

By Bus: To go to Mussoorie by bus, you can go to the Dehradun bus stand and then take a taxi or auto to go further. The bus from Dehradun will drop you near the Library Chowk of Mussoorie, which is called the city center of Mussoorie.

The cost of food for 3 days will range from Rs 1000 to around Rs 1500. Apart from this, transportation expenses will also have to be included.

If you come from a state that is far away from Uttarakhand and come by air, then you will have to pay 7 to 8 thousand rupees for one side. Whereas if you come by train or bus, you can visit Mussoorie for around Rs 2–3 Thousands.

The first beautiful place to visit in Mussoorie is Kempty Falls in Mussoorie. It is a beautiful waterfall located between the roads of Mussoorie and Dehradun. The height of Kempty Falls is about 40 feet. It is situated at an altitude of about 4500 feet above sea level. It was built by ‘John Mackin’ as a picnic spot. A huge crowd of people gathers at this place every day. You can also enjoy boating at Kempty Falls.

One of the beautiful places to visit in Mussoorie is Jwala Devi Temple. Library Chowk is the city center of Mussoorie. Jwala Devi Temple is about 8 km away from Library Chowk, which may take 20–25 minutes to reach. The oldest temple is that of Mata Vaishno Devi. This temple is also equally old.

According to a belief, when Lord Shiva was carrying the idol body of Mother Sati, 51 parts of her body broke and fell on the earth. The burning clothes and tongue of Sati Mata had fallen at this place, and this temple was built here.

Lal Tibba is said to be the oldest and most populous city in Mussoorie. This place is quite famous for its natural beauty, and very beautiful views of sunrise and sunset can be seen here. For this reason, Lal Tibba is crowded with tourists, especially in the morning and evening.

Lal Tibba is situated at an altitude of 2275 meters. There is also a camp of the Indian Military Services, towers of All India Radio and Doordarshan.

One of the beautiful places to visit in Mussoorie, Camel’s Back Road, is about 3 KM from ‘Library Bus Stand’. Camel’s Back Road is a 3-kilometer road from ‘Kulari Bazaar’ to Library Chowk in Mussoorie.

Camel’s Back Road takes its name from a rock shaped like a camel’s back. It was constructed in 1845. There is an ancient Hawa Ghar on this road, where people sit and look at the beautiful peaks.

This air house was earlier known as’scandal point’. A telescope is also available here for people to see the beautiful peaks of the Himalayas from closer.
